Thunder, THUNDER, THUNDER! THUNDERCATS! HOOOOOOOOO!
One of the best cartoons to come out of the 80’s, we got a group of catlike people who were transported to Third Earth, to make a home for themselves.
Liono, their leader, is something of a man-child – his body was not protected in suspended animation like the others, and so arrived as a grown up, but still with the mentality of a younger child, and had to learn to become a leader to Tygra, Wilykit and Wilykat, Cheetara, Panthro, and Snarf.
The show was a veritable hit, and we all knew how the Eye of Thundara worked, giving sight beyond sight as kids. So relive the past, and listen this week as we delve into the Rankin Bass creation, Thundercats!
